I'll have to wait until I'm at the "other house" where we have a dsl connection, to watch the video. But your post title reminded me of harpsichords, which are fun to play even if you don't know how.

Not too many harpsichords around these days, but I know what you mean.... kind of like those electronic synth. things, with allsorts of sounds..... razzmatazz without rehearsal.

Yeah, the young lady, despite looking like a "princess of rock", is actually a well-qualified professor of music.
There`s quite a few clips of La Catrin on Youtube, I think she played in the states earlier this year.
